This page explains what data the بيت الأثاث website collects and how we use and protect it.
Orders and delivery
When you order from the store we keep your name, phone number and email address, the address and country if you choose delivery and setup, the pieces and quantities, the payment method and any note you write. We use them only to confirm, prepare, deliver and set up the order. Nothing is paid on the website; you pay on delivery, in cash or by card.
Room sizes and photos
The sizes and photos you send us on WhatsApp or through the contact form for a made-to-measure majlis are used only to draw the plan and prepare the quote, shared with no one, and deleted after 12 months if the quote does not become an order. The chat itself is also covered by WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.
Accounts and the contact form
- Customer accounts: name, email address, password (stored encrypted), addresses and order history.
- The contact form: your name, email address, subject and message, kept in the website’s dashboard.
Cookies and what your browser keeps
We use only the cookies we need: for signing in, for keeping your cart during your visit and for protecting forms from automated messages. Your browser also keeps a copy of the cart to speed pages up. We use no tracking or advertising tools, and you can clear all of this by deleting this site’s data in your browser.
Retention and your rights
Orders are kept for five years for accounting, as required by applicable law, and contact messages for twelve months. You can ask for a copy of your data, its correction or the deletion of your account at any time from the contact page, and we reply within thirty days.
